I tried to launch the game on a new computer, but instead of launching, the game just shut down a couple of seconds after launch. I made the game an exception for Windows Antivirus and tried to run the game as an administrator, but none of this helped. I have updated the Nvidia and DirectX drivers, but nothing has changed. The same thing happens with the regular Don't Starve. I have no idea what to do, does anyone know what the problem is?

Sorry to hear that, windows antivirus should not interfere with the game. Few things I can suggest to try in the order, test after each one:

1. Verify Integrity of Game Files in Steam: Right-click the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files
2. Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributables both x86 and x64 versions or other important runtimes: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist
3. Run the game in Windowed Mode: look for client.ini in Dcoument\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\ [a numbered folder] \client.ini
open client.ini with notepad and look for [GRAPHICS] section → fullscreen = true → edit to: fullscreen = false
4. 
Reinstall the Game (Last Resort)

None of this helped me. I did everything twice. Are there any other ideas that can help me? I'm ready for anything except reinstalling Windows.

My next suggestion would be to get revo uninstaller. It's an advanced uninstaller, which can get rid of any leftovers.

Find Don't Starve Together in Revo, right click and then Uninstall. You can leave the "system restore point" checked. Then select "Advanced" and then in each section select all and Delete.
This should fully uninstall the game. But still check Document/Klei and anywhere that the game could have leftover files, and get rid of them.
Note: if you haven't already, and if you need your saves, which are "Cluster" folders, make a copy of them in Dcoument\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\ [a numbered folder] \ Cluster ..

You can also make a collection of your subscribed mods in steam, and then unsubscribe from all of them before reinstalling the game, that way no mods would get installed with the game. Although this shouldn't be causing issues, but better to be safe than sorry.

Nope, that didn't work either. I don't know what to do anymore, I guess I'll have to quit the game
