I think it would be nice if you could make the current garden plots look like the old farms in a way, so here's a simple idea: If you are to right click the edge of a garden plot with various different items, including stone, logs, planks, marble, etc, you will decorate that garden's edge with said material. The stones will make it look like the old advanced farm plots with all the rocks on the edges, while the planks will make it look like the old basic farm plots. In addition, there is also the sticks and the white picket fence things that you can craft in the farming tab that you can use solely as decor to place behind the back of the farm plots to make it look pretty.
