I love that console can use the aiming reticule now but we have to sacrifice the faster inventory management. I think making camera an alt action for the d-pad would be the most beneficial to many people since the camera is significantly less important than the aiming and inventory which could both be on the right stick.

Tldr, control scheme 4/5 but camera is swapped with inventory nav

And what happen to target locking??

And why is L3 wasted when we have so few buttons available?

And why do we waste even another button R1 when we don't have a character wheel character but still need the aiming (wortox)?

Why is this different from PC version where we can choose the modifier key and wheel key, and still keep the option to modify keys at will?

L3 does work for target locking as long as you have it enabled in the settings; the label is missing from the controller diagrams.
We will look at being able to change the modifier control in the future, controller mapping works differently behind the scenes on consoles

Are there still no options for a Tapped or Held button to perform a different action?

Aka: Quickly Tap Y to Inspect stuff (for PlayStation controller I believe this is triangle) Hold in Y for more than 2 Seconds to pull up On-Screen aiming reticule/Virtual Mouse…

And isn’t L1 and R1 (LB & RB on Xbox) already bound to rotating the camera?

I tested the target lock and it 'kinda' works, the thing is I had it mapped to R3 and that key is forcedly remapped to social menu, that's why it didn't work. For the target lock to work with the new controller schemes is to map it to the only left over key, L3.

This is the issue with forcing keys with the new schemes instead of allowing to be chosen.

Suggestion: don't force remapping social on R3, just leave R3 to whatever the user has it mapped to. If the player wants it to be social, then he can do it himself.
