Please look at the far right corner where the FPS is shown. During the fight, when he attacks the field, he reduces the FPS to 20-30. This makes playability a little difficult, as the wired mouse slowly starts moving around the screen. Moreover, after death, the FPS will not decrease until the field disappears.

Of course, you can use this tool to curl up, but if you hit someone or the entire arena is already damaged, then at least the last action before death is difficult to reproduce.

At the end of the video, I show the movement of the mouse cursor, it is difficult to move it yet (it just starts teleporting).

The reason for the lag is the fissure ground “sprite” is composed of many, many individual symbols, sometimes hundreds of them. It gets to a point the game is forced to slow to a crawl because it’s rendering too much at once. The solution would be to find a way to join the individual symbols together. It would technically make the sprite harder to animate, but would make it much more performance light to render.

Is this not enough for the game?

Ignore the troll comment.

The AOE attack indeed is poorly optimized. It's not your PC.

I agree with you. It's just that not everyone can have a powerful computer, and those who have a weak PC can play by connecting to other servers, and not be a host (this requires a lot of memory).

Yes, but still, if the developers see this, they will at least focus on the graphics according to the PC parameters

It's just as bad as tons of spiders loading in a zone (e.g., spider quarry/forests/queen's gathering setpiece). Klei really should have an update that will optimize the game engine and system without sacrificing those who still use their older PCs to play.

Preach! Ngl, I'm really worried about the state of their official servers with these updates. Servers can crash any moment due to spiders, it even happens at the end of Autumn right now when playing on a full server (12 players), rifts not even activated. Late game events will never be reachable in this state.

Edit: I'd like to add that it gets increasingly worse with more players on a server. I don't want to play Don't Starve Together solo, that's why I play 'Together', but if updates are only feasible when playing alone, I think the need to optimize the game is already past its due date.
