Wait, so we won't get any new lunar/shadow planar sets?

So, with the From Beyond arc already coming to a close, I find it crazy that we only have one armor set for each side—and it doesn't seem like we'll be getting more. You basically craft each set once, and then you're set for the entire Rift arc. There's no real sense of progression.

Plus, during one of the rhymes with Klei streams, the devs mentioned we'd be getting new armors that don’t cover the characters' faces. So what happened to that? Were there originally plans for more Rift updates that got scrapped, and now the arc is being cut short altogether?

Technically you have the WARBIS armor, enlightened crown, and dreadstone armor, which count for something. Though yeah, the rifts are very underdeveloped. On the bright side there's arguably more weapon variety, but yeah definitely less armor variety.

Atleast we can appreciate the other parts of the update they're working on it. Full of quality of life and new cool stuff.

It hurts how true this is. Why were we expected to wait and see the full picture when there wasn't much of anything in the beginning to paint one with? It's like them saying "Imagine the possibilities" when that should be their job.

What I'm truly passionate about the game right now is having the general gameplay experience be good, which is something they're finally doing after all these years: the controller improvements. That's why, of all the suggestions they decided to implement, they at least consider the controller-based ones and, to a broader extent, QOL ones as well. 

Did they ever implement a controller option to feed mobs?

 

this is one of the few games I play with a keyboard that isn’t text based, and I’ve been meaning to switch if a decent enough option existed.

These items are kind of part of some characters' skill trees, so I don't think so, even if there are more than the monsters we have now, it wouldn't be a problem not to have stronger weapons, we can already play the full game with like the 3 weapons that existed before these without any problems, so I don't think the planar mobs go much beyond that either, I don't expect to see a boss with a hp so high that requires you to have Terraria's Zenith equivalent to defeat, very unlikely. I also don't want anything more, personal opinion.

i hope not for new gear...why? BECAUSE CERTAIN SOMEONES have there shadow and moon perks tied with VERY spesific rift items

not just the plant, wortox reaper skill and wigfrids spear...even if the spear itself is not realy a side picking but it clearly is more a moon weapon
