snmyx
Moon Three Bosses(Crystal Deerclops.Armored Bearger.Possessed Varg) are three bosses that need to be fought in turns. Repeated killing in each round will not reward players with more Spark Ark. In single-player mode, it is easy to know which boss has been defeated and which boss has not been defeated. But in online mode, there are always people who secretly defeat one of the bosses without telling others, which makes it very likely that other players will not know which bosses have not been defeated in this round, so they repeatedly kill one of the bosses and fight in vain. "Then you just need to communicate with other players, and you will know which boss is the turn to defeat?" Then let me ask you, is Don't Starve Together a game where everyone logs in and out at the same time? Is every player who joins the game necessarily my friend? Can I still contact them after they log off after the game? Answer me! Do I have to go to Steam and ask every player who has played the game together separately? Huh? Answer me, you gous who say Puffed Potato Soufflé is a supermodel, answer me! Look into my eyes and tell me, why baby why? Cheggf
The only boss that makes any sense for being "repeatedly killed in vain" (when really you'd just kill it a single time and see that it didn't give a spark ark) is the varg, and you can just ask everyone if they've killed the varg yet. Or just kill it yourself and see. It isn't a super long fight or anything. hyoton123
OP, you can always be griefed by someone killing varg -> varg at any time. I don't think there is a counterplay besides kicking the people who won't fess up. I've come around to thinking that puffed potato souffle exists solely to let people starting off with warly know that he has unique recipes. (Although it sure isn't a good example of that!) Pruinae
A way to know would also be extremely helpful for people that take long breaks when playing on the same world. There's also the problem of me just killing the boss 10 minutes ago and forgetting completely any of it ever happened Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/165494-can-you-add-a-method-to-check-which-of-the-moon-three-bosses-to-fight/#findComment-1814143 Share on other sites

reddocc
the method should be wagstaff, he spawns near you to announce that his lab respawned he should also say I need more research for "boss" Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/165494-can-you-add-a-method-to-check-which-of-the-moon-three-bosses-to-fight/#findComment-1814162 Share on other sites

In my long gaming career, I have discovered a pattern: when searching for Suspicious Dirt Pile during Lunar Rift, if no one has killed Possessed Varg in this round, then the next Suspicious Dirt Pile I track will be marked with a Hound's Tooth, and the creature I tracked this time will definitely be Varg. This way, I only need to search the Suspicious Dirt Pile once to easily know whether I should kill Possessed Varg, so I basically won't kill Possessed Varg in vain.
