You literally can't do that, though. You're switching between them, not playing them "at the same time". It's also a purple gem and moonrock per switch, and there's only a handful of situations where character-swapping is even useful. Some characters also suffer from switching back and forth since WX would have to wait to recharge, Woby loses her size, and Wormwood unblooms when you switch.
