If a lunar part gets added, I don't think it should let you add both a lunar part and shadow part onto the same slingshot.

No.
No beta should be as long as this one. And never 3 character skill tree at once, since outside of those people who main those characters there is not that much content for others at all. I like the format when they do Willow and Wigfrid + frostjaw update. I thought they would stick to that, but here we are.

i would say there is a bit of technical challenge here as well.
Since they needed to:

• Remediate the least played characters usability issues to make them seem appealing to play without overshooting and throwing them over the top.
• Try to give a satisfying kit to wendy without turning her to creative/god mode (Like you know, that one headpiece that made damage you take go to abigail instead would have done because a 750 health character with regen and potions that make jelly beans look like childs toys would have.)

Not saying they did a perfect, job, but they did a good job and it isn't an easy task what they did.
There are elements of that overshooting in places, and well, people having different visions for the characters than what klei had.

But like, elements of overshooting isn't strictly outright overshooting, and we haven't even seen the full extent of some characters changes yet.
