How's shadow Abigail "shadow"?

So we all know that Woby has got its own shadow form and lunar form. In shadow form Woby can teleport to a position, like a sshadow creature. I myself is quite fond of this concept as well as its practicality. Then a quetion came to me, how's shadow Abigail "shadow"? Shadow Abigail seems not having anything that features the theme "shadow", apart from its outfit... So I reckon it makes sense giving shadow Abigail more... shadow related abilities, like teleports away when taking damage?

I reckon people may say that "but player tag already decreased the survival problem with Abigail, adding another skill doing the same thing would be overpowered", my idea for this is to move moon flower sisturn to the affinity line, maybe merge it with some skill, or, simply make moon flower sisturn results a moon abigail with player tag, and dark flower sisturn results a shadow abigail that teleports when attacked.

I must to say the "randomly teleport once got hitted" thing is not a buff but have high possibilities to being a nerf to Shabby. It would caused a mess to Shabby's position management especially when you're fighting against AFW, Bee Queen etc. Lardee had point out this before as well.

However I personally don't care such nerf if the mechanic is fun enough. This idea is pretty suitable for the lore of the Constant Shadows. And it's fun. Even I could stop to murdering for preventing the downside of the randomly teleport since Shabby's transform is more accessible as almost 7/24.

I do hope we have a design to encourage players to decide where and when to transform Abby by different scenarios. That's have a fun of strategies choosing.

And by the reason I said above I hope this won't happen to Shabby honestly.

Then maybe use a mechanism similar to Max, say shadow abigail can only take a maximum of 50 or 100 damage in one blow, when it takes this amount of damage it teleports away like a shadow creature, that sort of thing

I'm ok with this tbh, but it would be another "copy" of what we already have...I hope we could find a solution for this idea which is more unique.

That sounds pretty cool, making Abigail behave like a shadow creature.

However, thinking about it, the best skills in the tree are the Team Spirit that allow you to control Abigail.
I'm not sure how "random teleport" would mix with the control gameplay, specially considering the Vex application.

And the Shadow duelists thing helps few to the position management downside ngl.

Just imagine that once you set Abby at a right position for helping you to erase the weaving shadows of AFW, Shabby get hitted by AFW and she just teleport far away from AFW. AFW started to healing itself...

How about... giving her something similar to lurking nightmare special horn attack that can deal damage and keep vex.

I see the horn attack idea, but I'm not totally sure of what that would bring to Abigail's gameplay other than looking at it and seeing "oh, that's neat". An extra attack in the affinities is a nice idea however.

I did a suggestion that I think would be okay thematically while also giving it something more interesting that more damage imho.

But if the goal was to turn Abigail into an actual shadow creature instead of a mix between a shadow creature and a ghost, I would do something like this.

Base changes:
-Attack Rate doubles to twice per second,
-No extra 25 damage.
-Uses the same damage as regular Abigail.
-All her base damage turn into planar damage.

Attack at command: Abigail doesn't do a run through, it just instantly teleports to its destination.

Doesn't emit light at lvl 3 since she's no longer a ghost.

Special command that requires either some kind of resource to activate, akin to willow's shadow/lunar flames: Make abigail create a big AoE with thorns like Winona's pure horror catapults, and sucks the life of everything around it. Useful to heal her on bosses, and turning Abigail into a reaper of souls against crowds.
