Make Pigmen slowly regenerate health

This is important as it stops them from being the most useless follower because of their lack of durability.

 

i put this here because of my other pig suggestion for Walter.

that might be a bit rough. merms are suuuuch a pain to clear out solo because they are so tanky when there are more than one or two. pigs would be so much harder if they had the same regen and werepigs(plural) would be an absolute terror for mid-tier and lower players

Pigs normally die in a few hits. Only 250hp.

and they won’t regenerate during combat.

i rely heavily on pigs in my day-to-day dealings. if your pigs are falling that fast you are not using enough or else are putting them in unsuitable positions. they are best suited when they have about +2 more chances to hit than whatever they are hitting so they can take advantage of the stun animation most things get when hit while not being stuck in their own stun animation

 

unless there is a noticeable delay between their disengaging and their regen that doesnt mean a lot. pigs will often "forget" they are fighting and have a little scarper off to the side before running back

I don’t like having fed a weakling pig just for it to die because it is stuck on 10hp annd I don’t know, only way to regenerate their health is murder which is annoying.

If only there was a way to justify a bunch of development time and buff/rework pigs at the same time in a meaninful way

But until we find such a way, pigs will be stuck being the at the bottom of the follower tier list for combat. Unfortunate.

which is fair to feel but it still adds an extra burden to a lot of players who are not as capable as you are and takes away from the fact that they can be given helmets and healing items
