One final Wendy change

I know I know Wendy has been hot topic on the forums for a while and I know she been getting the spotlight of changes but this is all I ask.give her alter at the end of her necromancy skill tree something else that makes it functionally different from the meat effigy idk make potions more potent on characters that drink potions or something to make it different that’s all I ask for.

I really hope Wendy's tree gets another pass over for balance, Walter got most of his perks buffed before his tree got reworked, but Wendy's tree still hasn't got the balance hammered down yet. Perrenial altar is the biggest example of this, but:

• Blessed Sisturn 3 needs some buffs
• Wendy shouldn't be the Worst user of vengeful ghosts
• 2 MG per butterfly revive is still too expensive
• Haunt RNG is Still painful
• Dark Petals still aren't a useful production for gravestones (Please convert to MG)
• Shadow Abigail's damage standardization should be reverted

Strong Brew & Potion Duping are also pretty mid skills, but it's a bit late for them to be changed.

you have point out almost all issues of Wendy's tree, thank you!

though I personally think the Vengeful Ghost should be completely rework.

Same for Strong Brew & Potion Duping (the PD is almost a copy of MG line. Boring and unsuitable)

 

And I personally are dissatisfied to both affinity line. I have never seen any other character (except Wolfgang) have 3 skills for each affinity line. I think Sisterhood I and II could be merge;

And Lunar Abby need some buff as well. It gives a similar DPS but sacrificed the AoE ability. She need still management for her survival. I still have no idea why I would to choose Lubby but not normal/shadow one.

Putting in my vote that I personally think it does not need another balance pass and is pretty much perfect all around, and would love them to move on

nah walter didn't need anything new he was fine previously

I find what they did to be too much he shouldn't have gotten all of that.

These are arguments people are using against wendy. 
Wendy is still broken and this walter update just proves it more.

If you actually thought that then that's fine.  I personally thought Walter was not fine, and that he needed the work.  If you want to share that opinion though and actually believe it, go crazy and post about it.  I think Wendy has a great skill tree and has gotten way too much attention, and I would love it if they moved on, and am just sharing my opinion.

What I am saying is that if you believe she is not fine, feel free to post about it.  I believe she is more than fine, and am also going to post about it.  Getting upset when I share my opinion just like you is questionable.  I'm not insulting you personally - I just have a different opinion, and am sharing it.  

If you really want to get into it: how do you think we feel?  When people keep asking for Wendy focus for months and months and we just want the rest of the game and characters focused on and believe it deserves the time?

i mean we have never criticised any other player of being entitled or calling them hateful names as well as just removeing them because we wanted to talk about our character

What?  There have been tons of these types of posts from people advocating for Wendy buff after buff and requesting developer time.  Would you like me to spend some time quoting them here for you?  I know you haven't done it, but that statement is pretty clearly wildly inaccurate.

I have seen buffs and stuff But like i really just got booed off the discord for trying to talk about how walter now affects the quality of the other skilltrees in the update.

That's unfortunate I guess.  People are understandably (in my opinion) a bit upset about perceived Wendy favoritism locking the beta.  I have friends that won't play the game until the beta is released because they "don't think the beta is real", and it's annoying me a lot personally.  

Definitely not OK for them to treat you like that, but I have not been calling people hateful names, and don't even use the discord, so am not related to these people at all.  I'm just posting my opinion in a normal manner, and then you are yelling at me for it.

You can certainly keep saying to the vehicles on a one-way street, "What's wrong with me driving in the opposite direction?" I understand that you want the test server to go live sooner; everyone does.

But if you think sacrificing the quality of Wendy's skill tree for the sake of getting the test server online is right, then no matter how polite your words are, they are worthless.

Insincerely telling others that Walter and Wortox's skill trees are not as good as Wendy's is just the worst way to trample on other people's efforts in order to get the skill tree online. No matter how polite your expression is, they are still lies.

I think at this point we can safely sat that there's no favoritism for Wendy. At absolute worst Wortox is neglected, but the conspiracy theories and vitriol that was being spread about that topic was ridiculous then and even moreso in hindsight.

I never seen someone here had questioned if the process of Wendy's tree is parrallel or not. I just seen they feel dissatisfied for different standard between Wendy and Walter.

No no. At the beginning of the beta, there were accusations of Wendy's skill tree not getting attention from the devs. Like way early. I'm pretty sure that this was the reason we found out that the skill trees are being worked on in parallel by 3 different devs

Yea I agree Wendy is in a fine spot right now but I’m only asking for a single skill in her skill tree to be more then a reskin of an already existing item. so that’s why I’m asking for only this to be something a tad more not combat focused but something cool. because it is of course the third skill tree within a necromancy branch and it’s just be reskin of a meat effigy Wendy can easily kill shadows monkeys or bunnies for the beard hair to mass make meat effigy’s. so the skill itself is kinda pointless so that’s why I’m asking for it to be changed or added onto a lil.

Perennial Altar suggestion:
I would like if the Perennial altar worked less like a meat effigy and more like a special touch stone Wendy has acess to.

Instead of one use and then the Perennial altar is consumed like it is right now, you would be able to recharge/refill it with mourning glory and a full recharge/refill would allow for 3 revives before you need to refill it again. The candle revive button would be kept for Wendy, allowing her to instantily revive at the nearest mourning glory filled Perennial Altar, while other non wendy players could either haunt a mourning glory filled altar like a touch stone to use one of its revive or Wendy could use one mourning glory on the player's ghost to reviver them at the nearest filled altar. 



Each one of those three flowers would indicate the amount of revives available, once a revive is used one of the flowers would wither, on the last revive use the third  - and biggest - flower would wither and the candle's fire would be extinguished, the flowers would only flourish again and the candle burn once the Perenial Altar is filled with Mourning Glory again. The recipe of the Perennial Altar would have to be changed to reflect it now being a permanente estructure.

I really like this idea Wendy making renewable touch stones is such a cool idea.

Tbh wendy players are reaching modded character territory with those suggestions, i saw jazzy's run with wendy on beta and she seems more than fine.
