I play with PS4 pro, the game was purchased on my account, automatic download of updates is set, wi-fi works fine. During the game everything froze,I have a strange lag,and then the game got crashed.When I open the game again,there was a message “error of loading data”,I will upload a screenshot of that down below.And after I picked the variant “load saved data from reserved copy”.And after this everything I have in game, save files,-was gone, and especially-my 2500+ days world was wiped out in some reason((( Klei support don’t want to give me any compensations,or help me to restore my beloved world, he was gone not because of my mistake, or something, it was a Klei technique issue.And here are some screenshots of my beautiful world, where I spend 300+ hours of my life… Hope anyone and somehow can help me to restore it, I beg you. Я тоже потерял мир в 2021 году и хоть там не было 2500 дней, а лишь 450, но я всё равно растроился и в этом же году я уже свой мир в Minecraft также потерял. В играх песочницах нужно быть всегда морально готовым к тому что мир будет утерян из за какой либо ошибки. GimplyGoose Posted February 1, 2025 Share Posted February 1, 2025 It looks like your save data got corrupted. This can happen on any game unfortunately. I'm not sure what the backup options for PS4 are, but on PC, taking regular backups of long term save files like this (in any game) is a good idea. Edit: I found some information about how to make backups of your save files on PS4: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps4-back-up-and-restore-with-external-storage/ It may not help you now, but it might save you or others from a situation like this in the future. I used to literally back up my world save to two different flashdrives every 100 or so days because I was so paranoid about this very thing happening. I get where they're coming from, but if they've told you it's user-error that's not entirely true. They could tighten up their code so it's not a spaghetti of lua and dev comments though, that'd help. Yes, there was a copy, but for some reason it was deleted after this bug. That I unintentionally deleted the save...But it’s not my fault, it’s klei’s mistake.
