Should new bosses get critter versions?

they are cute and people wanted the crab for a while but critters tend not to get used because people generally dont feed them and the cries to be fed are upsetting to a lot of those same people

perhaps reworking it so its llike a beefalo taming process with their our own
Traits like ornery etc would be kinda cool and stop having to feed more than 1 mouth aka on full domestication it dosent ask for food

I want miniature Deerclops/Crystal Clops, Crab King Minion & Daywalker Werepig.

Giant Worm might be cool too but these things (since they’re critter den pets and all) need more skin variants.

WHY does Klei keep releasing new critter skins for the Giblet & Ewelet?

I'd love if all critters had 1 small skill like the moon moth does.
light is not all that powerful, so the other skills should be equally mediocre, but fun.
The varglet should bark a minute or two before hounds come, nothing amazing, but nice information to know.

Kitcoon should once a day try to catch a bird, nice for 1 morsel or feather
Giblet should make gobblers not come out of bushes or bring you seeds/birchnuts

Ewelet should sneeze at enemies(not bosses, too scary for them) every minute and slow them (can't full stun because it's a small phlem sneeze)

Eyeball pet- makes the map reveal radius of the player 25% larger
Dfly pet should allow you to cook a stack of an item like Packim Baggins does (to get this you had to kill dfly, hatch it, then freeze it, then craft the pet, I think this one can be cooler)

which would be neat though i think just slowing down the hunger drain or doing what radicaljoe suggested and giving them something to make them worth maintaining(outside of being cute) would be swell

Due to the laws of supply and demand
No one wants to buy other skins 'cause there's loads of annoying crafting components

That's gold idea. It should make Critters not use their unique skills when hungry, instead of trying to destroy player brain.

Perhaps an item similar to a salt lick for a beefalo aswell(Maybe like a chew toy type item)

*keeps his sheepington well fed if I happen to get one, despite in the Wilson + a thousand sheepingtons spawned via console scenario in which I get greeted by hungry lambs when I return to base* :wilson_flower:

I can't wait for a critter rework (maybe I'm being delusional here), but I like it when there are some filler updates in between the arc themed updates (like Reap What You Sow).

They actually get hungry very quickly, which ends up being an annoying companion for many players, but there is a minigame that allows you to leave them at maximum hunger for around 5 days — personally, I find it quite fun.
