I think nobody shutting anyone up, using English language to communicate on public forum is just common sense as it is being used worldwide. Using Chinese (or any other language for that matter) will bring even more misunderstandings than there is right now. Because it has been a bigger problem as of late, I wanted to bring attention to the fact that reporting such behavior might decrease the number of posts such as OP's or as yours, that make the forums a very bad and alienating space for discussion. yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Posted January 28, 2025 Share Posted January 28, 2025 科雷必须尽快地对“论坛是否支持中文，以及论坛支持中文到底是什么意思”这两个关键问题给出一个简明且确定的答复 这是我第一次在论坛上使用中文发帖，在这之前我出于对论坛里的各国同好们以及对科雷的开发者们的基本尊重，使用大多用户所用的英文发帖，因为开发者们母语是英语，因为其他的非英语母语者也同样借助翻译工具来用英文发帖 而现在我用中文发帖，是因为这是哔哩哔哩上科雷娱乐官方账号自2022年来所承诺给我，给所有使用中文的玩家的权利（玩家常见问题指引 - 哔哩哔哩），这一权利在2025年1月再次得到确认（科雷娱乐的动态 - 哔哩哔哩） “论坛是否支持中文”这一问题，本质是科雷是否能看到，能理解，能听取中文社区玩家反馈与建议的问题，这个帖子里提到的中国的饥荒玩家的占比之多，是客观事实，而科雷没有有效地处理这一问题，也是客观事实，最近论坛上出现这些相关的帖子，本质就是科雷没有处理好这个问题所导致的结果之一 有鉴于在哔哩哔哩一月交流帖中，科雷改进了交流贴的形式（科雷娱乐的动态 - 哔哩哔哩），我相信科雷想要解决这一问题，但是这一问题的解决不能建立在科雷所给出的双重标准之上——科雷的哔哩哔哩运营和论坛的管理员不能就这个问题给出两种不同且相悖的答案 对中国玩家不遵守论坛规则的指控是完全不成立的，我们被告知了这一套双重标准，我们应该相信谁？我们应该遵守哪一套规则？ 我保留我使用中文的权利，我也出于对科雷开发者及论坛各国同好们的基本尊重将本帖机翻为英文，我希望科雷也尊重中国玩家，希望科雷能给出简明且确定的答复 Klei must provide a clear and definitive response to the two key questions of "Does the forum support Chinese?" and "What does it mean for the forum to support Chinese?" as soon as possible. This is my first time posting in Chinese on the forum. Before this, out of respect for fellow players from various countries in the forum and for the developers, I posted mainly in English, which is the language most users employ. This is because the developers' native language is English, and other non-English speakers also use translation tools to communicate in English. Now I am using Chinese to post because this is the right that Klei promised me and all Chinese-speaking players through their official account on Bilibili since 2022 (玩家常见问题指引 - 哔哩哔哩). This right was reaffirmed in January 2025 (科雷娱乐的动态 - 哔哩哔哩). The question of "Does the forum support Chinese?" fundamentally concerns whether Klei can see, understand, and listen to feedback and suggestions from the Chinese community. The significant percentage of Chinese players mentioned in this post is an objective fact, and the fact that Klei has not effectively addressed this issue is likewise an objective fact. The recent appearance of related posts on the forum essentially stems from Klei's failure to properly handle this matter. Given that Klei improved the format of the communication posts in the January thread on Bilibili (科雷娱乐的动态 - 哔哩哔哩), I believe Klei wants to resolve this issue. However, the resolution cannot be built on the double standards provided by Klei—Klei's Bilibili operations and the forum administrators cannot give two different and contradictory answers to this question. The accusation that Chinese players do not comply with forum rules is entirely unfounded. We have been informed of this double standard; who are we supposed to trust? Which set of rules should we adhere to? I reserve my right to use Chinese, and out of respect for Klei's developers and fellow players from various countries in the forum, I have translated this post into English. I hope Klei will also respect Chinese players and provide a clear and definitive response. Klei, please don’t make this worse anymore. I believe in you and whoever is friendly in this community. All we want is fairness and justice, we are not requiring any privileges, just a clear answer if we are allowed to use only Chinese here. If the answer is no, we will also understand. Вам никто не запрещает писать только на китайском языке на форуме, серьёзно вы можете спокойно так делать, но у некоторых англоязычных игроков могут возникнуть проблемы с пониманием этого языка. Если вы хотите чтобы вас понимали, то конечно желательно писать на английском. Если хотите чтобы вас понимали только носители китайского языка и люди с переводчиком, то пишите спокойно на китайском языке. Как по мне вам вообще не нужно никакого разрешения, тут лишь дело в том для чего вы пишите пост или сообщение и какой реакции вы ожидаете, и ожидаете ли вообще. Because that's what Chinese players get when they post in Chinese, of course we want to write quietly, but certain people are always judging us for using Chinese. As well, may I ask if Klei has ever stated on Russian social media platforms that Forum supports Russian? If not, then I'm afraid the two issues will not be comparable.
