Yifei_ Posted January 17, 2025 Share Posted January 17, 2025 I even feel that it might not be updated until next week (and it's even possible that it will be updated directly to the official version instead of the beta version), while also releasing the 2025 roadmap and the Snake Year event (the Spring Festival in 2025 is on January 29th). However, these are all just my personal speculations. I hope my guesses are inaccurate. ONI had updates last week and this week, yet there is currently no news from Klei about DST updates. Hope that Klei can bring a high-quality update! I hope they don't go out of Beta without actually letting us test the changes. Wendy's skill tree still needs balancing, and Walter's got a number of new skills to go. Maybe there'll be something tommorow? I'm sure it'll be fine but the silence is concerning. Doubtful, once Klei feels something is finalized they generally just release it without additional beta stages and they may spend a week or two to fine tune and tweak afterwards, but usually they put the content out and move on to whatever’s next. They don't typically change much in the final week of beta iirc, so if we don't get anything this week it may well go straight to live. It feels like after a large degree of scrutiny they just release and hope for the best. Sure hotfixes come, but it feels like it's so keep to their deadlines on dev cycles whilst not actually completing their roadmaps accurately. I don't mind much either way, but I just want to know if we're going straight to live or not. There's pretty much nothing left to discuss, so we're just running around in circles waiting for something to change, 2 weeks after the beta was expected to resume.
