Make Ewecus more common to move War Saddle to midgame

Recommended Posts

During the Winter, the first suspicious track (in the swamp) should always lead to an Ewecus, and subsequent Winter (swamp) tracks should have a 50% chance of spawning an Ewecus.

By doing this, the War Saddle (and the Brush) can become the midgame saddle, situating it right between the default saddle and the nightmare saddle. Even before the nightmare saddle, people used to ignore the War Saddle completely due to the high cost of the saddle, at least up to late game.

This will also reduce the time required for the first taming, allowing skilled players to tame beefalo efficiently even if they join later in autumn or winter.

you can change hunt surprise settings which decrease koalaphant and subsequently increases the other two. just dont follow the varg tracks and you'll be golden

nah, instead of changing the game setting, they can implement something like, during snowy days in swamp, you are gurantee to find a Ewecus ( just like volt goats)

I wouldnt be opposed to certain biomes prefering certain hunt spawns. Theyve already shown it's possible with that weird volt goat oasis thing.

Plus itd open up the possibility of new hunts as thered be less of a bloat issue with too many hunt outcomes if they all have their own "home" biome. Although i would definetly want most biomes to be neutral, as it currently is (although that might just be my different scary monkey on my back wispering to me

I don't agree with this at all.

Alot of people are going to want a winter koalefant to craft the breezy vest asap. forced ewecus would also just murder inexperienced people tenfold.

there is no urgency in crafting a war saddle other than for speedrun purposes which you've conveniently forgot to mention.

Beefalos are stronger and easier than ever and the process does not deserve any more buffs.
