Is the eating contaminated food animation removed?

Recommended Posts

So I havent played this game since last April, and I have noticed that my dupes will no longer perform that disgusted animation when they eat germ covered food. I think it's a pretty neat feature and helps me notice if the food storage area is contaminated, and i wonder is it removed in the recent updates?

I think a better solution would be to play animations if there are enough microbes on a piece of food to infect, and not play if there are few of them.
But the Klei decided to remove it.
Well, I returned it. Now it also plays when contaminated cooler, coffee, etc.

Can you make touching germs in water attach to dupes?

I have seen dupes eating left over food, and getting food poisoning. I asked about this years ago. It is one I wish they would fix, but it is related to the same mechanic that drops anything when some change in scheduling happens, or what not. But, I have had it happen very recently, repeatedly in fact inside the same play through.

Could you also add the wet feet animation back?
