No? Woodie is EZ for early ruin rush and many bosses rush. I'm casual indeed.

Okay so what's the definition of "casual"?

you are a "skillful" player.

do you need armors, weapons, or any other resources.

Probably.

Giving Abigail 99% damage resistance would also " improve the general efficiency for this specific situation". That's why it's not an argument. If you're rushing things, then you're not playing the game casually. You have both skillful and less skillful that do not require the player tag.

There's plenty that can be done if you get together when necessary. I've played many games on public servers and with friends, I know how the together experience is.

That's why the dev are great - They manage to know all perspectives, thus releasing Abi player tag for Winter Break to really see what's up. This tag could be used for beginners (new to the game), casuals (who take things slow), and experienced players (more possibilities), and also team player (general efficiency). They design game for their customers like of course it's an argument. Also different team, different playstyles so up to you to use Abi player tag or not.

i would like to see you using Wendy to defeat a deerclop, one of the easiest bosses in the game, without any armors, weapons and resources.

Yeah! And do it with your monitor and speakers off!

If you can't, Xplan proves the point. Though I can't tell what point xplan was trying to make.

In any case, checkmate, Klei!

All of this equally applies to Spectral Cure All and Ghastly Experience. So you've still not given a single reason why the player tag is needed.

Didn't you use the word in a topic title?

The simple truth is that some of you are just obsessed with the game of defining and arguing. I have no interest to be involved. If you have any questions about it, "Klei reserved all the right for the final explanation".

Wouldnt you just run it over a few tentacles? Like, no attack runs are a thing.

You are being toxic and hilarious.

didnt you see that he said he could.

Seems like a really weak and transparent argumentative tactic to refuse to define your own terms.

Why is this relevant to the point?

Because I refuse to waste my time for feeding someone's narcissim. These people are not aiming for creative compromise idea, nor to satisfy people as more as possible. They are just enjoying their illusion of superiority. Bye.

At least you admitted it, I guess.

her terms?

let's find out who mentioned casual first and refuse to define it.

He said he'd probably need a weapon, armor, resources. Not that he would need none of those. You made that up.

Steorra did. Theres a topic saying so. In the title. On the front page of the beta forums.

Can't miss it.

I didn't refuse to define anything. I was never asked. I would have gladly gave a definition if one was requested.

I requested a definition from Steorra because we clearly have different ideas about what "casual" means.

Okay my bad, I am mistaken to think we'd discussed this somewhere else.

Player tag could be useful for:

  • Beginners as last resort against giant obstacles (Spectral Cure-All: Beginners I've seen they are always having difficulties with maintaining health // Ghastly Experience: They don't know Forget-Me-Lots as material needed for strong tool Wendy has, let alone know the way to make mass production)
  • Casuals as play as they go along (Assuming they choose Wendy and Abi because of cute, they just suffer if Abi is dying)
  • Experienced players as more methods to use (Problem-solving like brainstorming activity for people outside forum)
  • Team players as general efficiency (Lune Tree Blossoms inside Sisturn can greatly reduce the grinding and bring consistency in server with bad latency or call it delay when playing)

Stacking Spectral Cure All & Ghastly Experience alone takes the enjoyment and then use them in a fight would be inefficient because then you'd be busy re-summoning Abi & healing Abi instead of hitting the giant so longer suffering for what?

Could you elaborate on this? I may be reading it wrong.

Oh, Lardee told ME that

Player tag only affects boss damage. Beginners wouldn't be affected.

The question wasn't which is less efficient. 99% damage reduction would be more efficient than the player tag. The question was whether it was needed. It's clearly not, you're able to accomplish all the same things with the potions.

Steorra used it 7 hours ago. Lardee used it 40 minutes ago.

Also he offered to define it, in his words. He's not refusing to.
