Camp Scout Skill

Recommended Posts

Simple idea I had because I thought it would be cool.
Walter can make campfires using 1 log and 2 twigs.

Is this powerful or useful? No, but I really like the idea of Walter making a campfire the campscout way.

(also maybe let him craft the thatch hut from SW, I think shelter building is an earnable badge in boyscouts?)

campfire that cost 1 log, but you have to do a little bowdrill minigame to light it on fire.

Also yeah shelter would be nice, but I'd like it if it was just modifications to his already portable tent.

If I'm fumbling around in darkness while Charlie is right behind my ass and I have to play a minigame for light? Yeah I'd crash out

Interesting idea, but I believe logs are very abundant and easy to access so this is probably only adding to the challenge...

But it would be really cool if you have to do this minigame with a camping crockpot as suggested in another post.

Speaking of that, imma probably make a poll on Walter's camping/scout perk ideas that's been suggested so far

make it so shadow hands interfere with your mini game while your sanity is low too, : )

true. Actually, it was a joke idea, but maybe it could be good kinda, like a makeshift firepit that you can just light up whenever you want after doing the initial step. Bonfires aren't hard to make, of course, but a cheap alternative means you could just place them all over, and might make it easier for exploring and making little camps along the way.

Sounds like a good nerf idea for wes

Everytime Wes makes a campfire there is a 50% chance of him triggering this minigame, and failing it returns half of the resources :wilsoalmostangelic:

Personally, I think having nerfs like this as his skill tree would be pretty in line.

Could even go with a drop rate decrease skill

I cant remember who suggested it but something like turning the portable tent into a siesta tent with a couple ropes would be pretty good for sleeping on day time and during Summer
