That doesn't matter Bernie's role as a follower is a tank so if we're suddenly boosting so much of the durability of other followers Bernie should still be the most durable just as Abigal is has the role of being the heaviest hitting and aoe follower.

Actually why does a familial bond even matter in this context do you get a defense boost when your family is nearby?

Yes. If you arent actually having problems clearing armored bearger (which you’ll do a total of once solo unless you want more crystaleyezers for some reason)  but just want to do it in a faster or more personally pleasing way then there is no real problem. Youre getting the content and the rewards. You can already clearly use abigail in stun windows. She isnt unusable. Not all advantages are usable 100% of the time in the same way each time.

So post your vid of you on wendy vs armored bearger. I want to see your follower management.

Because if this beta change makes it through then the question is how strong followers should be in general. This is a design philosophy question which klei is raising, which is related to content being beta tested.

BERNIE! Is still the most tanky follower for current stage. No buff needed. Especially Willow has got help about her downside for winter survival as same as current Wendy got for Abi survival.

Additional spiders can equip head items and they do have nurse now. Which means they are still far more tanky than Abi.

Opps, even far more tanky than BERNIE!.
