What Wendy lacks is not damage, but quality of life

Let's take a look at Wendy's current situation. Her only ability is to kill small monsters that gather together at a low cost. And killing Bee queen before first full moon. Apart from enhancing combat damage, she has no ability to increase resource production or other quality of life. 
Wendy's attack damage is not low. When attacking with Abigail, Wendy's damage is 0.75 * 1.1 * 1.4=1.115. She has 11.5% bonus plus Abigail's own attack damage. But many Wendy players need to spend time taming a beefalo to compensate for her attack ability. Let's analyze the reason, it's actually because Abigail is too easy to die. Without Abigail, Wendy is 0.75, so she needs a beefalo to increase her normal attack damage. 
So Wendy's skill tree, she doesn't need any additional damage potion to turn herself into a girl Wolfgang. We should just improve Abigail's survival ability. With Abigail present, Wendy herself is not a low DMG character. Wendy's skill tree has too many simple and crude ways to increase attack values, very effective, but not interesting, occupy slots, giving designers reasons not to design new good things. She needs some interesting new gameplay, like Willow's flamethrower and summoning fireball.

Yeah I'm pretty enjoying Wortox for current beta version. Best skill tree and even better than woodie.

Then people should be satisfied with current skilltree, which made Wendy Wenlfgang. Yet they are not, and complaining about simply adding bigger numbers is bad design, which is. The self-made skilltrees people have been posting here are also had little to do with "damage". Suppose that what they want is damage, then it makes a paradox that people are unsatisfied with current skilltree. 

I think is more interesting to reward the player with high damage if they are skillful enough to keep Abigail, which got new tools to survive and rejoin the fight, alive and punish the failures with the only downside wendy has than simply making her survive without effort to always have the bonus damage...

Wendy's biggest problem is that it's not fun gameplay enough. All her abilities are aimed at killing small monsters, but this ability is easily replaced by new skill tree characters.

She needs some new gameplay to distinguish herself from other characters and improve her resource production ability

So I said, the designer does not play the game at all, does not understand the player's thoughts, just keep adding numbers, the player wants more fun and gameplay, Wendy's pain is that Abigail can hardly participate in the boss battle, just through some conditions to increase Abigail's survival ability and single attack ability, the rest can be increased by the gameplay skills

Honestly I am having a blast with this as well. I was forced to switch to Wanda when my friends kept dying and or would bring a lot of pigs/rabbits (that would lose loyalty over time), but now I can just do my thing and appear anywhere whenever someone is in trouble <3

In late game I'd swap Sack damage for Scythe.

It's true that Wendy and Abigail is a strong duo, when Abi is alive they can deal with anything. The main problem with Abigail having 30-40% of that duo's power is that if she dies, Wendy struggles to fight on her own. The new Ghastly Elixir solves that problem quite well though.

On the other hand both shielding Elixirs are useless against most bosses, because they only increase the duration by 0.5 seconds, which doesn't matter against most bosses. What those elixirs need is some protection, so Abigail doesn't die in 3 hits even with Spectral Cure-All.

Also I believe Spectral Cure-All shouldn't remove effects of Elixirs lasting 1 day, even if we nerf Spectral Cure-All it would be a benefitial change for Abigail's health in most cases.

It's still inconvenient, you have to pause the fighting and go flee for Abi atm if you have to use that elixir.

I personally think for other unpopular ignorable elixirs, they should could work parallel with Cure-All and two affinity elixirs, like what two affinity elixirs already did. And for those unpopular elixirs they need some buff as well, I mean, both these two point need buff at the same time.

Additionally, for current stage you could simply to trigger the shield effect by using weather pain.

Yeah I definitely agree with this.
