Slow down rounds should have a new function?

I thought honey rounds were aoe.

It feels like those that follows the path are slowed down as well but I'm not entirely sure. The honey rounds themselves only put the debuff on the target you hit however.

Slowdown rounds on the other hand when used with the thulecite attachment gives a fairly decent aoe wave it really makes the ice and slowdown rounds really good as they also have slightly different niches.

i think stinger or glass rounds should be different.

There are also gunpowder rounds which are straight up better than glass rounds cause they deal more damage in all cases and can have a big aoe and you don't have to reach lunar island.

Icker rounds were cool, but as of now i don't with the buff given to slow down rounds i don't understand them anymore, you make even less icker rounds than usual...

Slow down rounds are now better than icker and honey, honey rounds at least can be mass farmed...

I don't know, all of these rounds are just copies of each other with slightly different stats.

3 slow rounds and 3 aoe round.

Very disappointed considering all the potential

I could see some points made for potential ricochet rounds similar to the brightshade staff or dot of any kind (well not fire, that would suck) but my ideas are limited I would love to see more tossed out there though.

They do fit their roles however honey is the cheap accessible one that's more usable in day to day combat, the purple ones require stacking and have aoe for hordes, and finally the icker ones last much longer while only needing one shot making them perfect for bosses if you choose that affinity.

But they are different types of slow and aoe. For AOE damage stingers are cheap, moonglass are better but "harder" to get (grotto ponds are a thing now for Walter), and I wouldnt consider Gunpowder as aoe because if u were to need aoe its much safer to just go for the other 2 options

For slows honey is by far the cheapest,  purple rounds are stackable and can be made an aoe slow that also stacks, and icker is this long duration high slow.

I think its fine to have many options, its not like you have to pick ALL at once during all the stages of the game. For early game you can pick honey rounds but once you are stacking purple rounds you can reset skill tree and save that point, same if you were to pick stingers and moonglass. Saving some points means you can spend it elsewhere, and we have to wait to see what will  be the end result of the Woby branch but, I think those extra points could be worth spending there

I know they apply the same effect in different ways and costs but we arent talking about having 3 slow rounds of a variety of 30.

There were room for stuff like moonsroom sleepy rounds as a improved sleeping dart, fire rounds and who knows what got discarted in the development process

Overall im happy with Walter's skill tree (except for having 2 skills to just get 10 extra rounds per craft) but this was a weird decision
