Funny, in the original post Wendy winning a championship was used as an evidence to prove that Wendy is strong, until quaksz himself/herself was there saying that Wendy is not.

Speedrun isn't the focus of the game indeed, but I reckon that opinions over the strength of certain characters from a top tier speedrun player is of certain value.

The character he won as was Wendy. It's not like he wasnt using her abilities to win.

And he would have won faster if he used someone else, as he claimed. He used her abilities to win, yes, but it's not merely Wendy's ability that gotten him winning at last. The main issue was the player's ability, rather than the character's.

Yes. He should know better. It's not like she hasn't been demonstrated as a powerful boss killer before in other tournaments and videos. I'd have to pretend that these don't exist.

Okay now I could be clear about that for some of you, voices from who mastered to using Wendy is invalid, voices from who mainly Wendy is invalid, only voices from who don't know how Wendy exactly is is valid. Great : )

A truth is - those videos of bosses killing by Wendy which you have seen, is extremely high skill needed and extremely hard.

And another truth is, you have never reached that level of Wendy operating for endgame bosses killing, you just "watch random video" and start to judge "Wendy is strong!".

Stop judging a thing which you have not enough knowledge about their details. Don;t perform like a toxic narcissism.

tbh "woby is day 0 free chester so they should not better than beefalo or it would be OP" is a thing relative with woby. here's only one thing about wendy is that they are same logic to say something OP just because they are day 0 free things.

When I make suggestions in any topic I try to stay on topic as best as I possibly can, and if I bring up another video game or another character in DS/DST I usually only try to use them as a reference point.

And when I suggest changes for other characters I try to stay true to who I think they are or how I think they should play.

Walter has several things the slingshot, his scout experience, Woby, his own items thrown about here and there etc..

Originally Woby was just a free day 1 chester that transformed into a day 1 Beefalo if you feed her monster meat.

But Woby has so so so much potential to be so much more…

I saw a Suggestion someone else had made suggesting to allow Woby to pull Walter out of the water if he drowns (like a free life raft or Wes’s balloon jacket) and I absolutely adore that suggestion! I’d invest a skill point into that.. I’d love to see a cute animation of my screen going black for a second and then you see Woby dragging Walter out of the edge of the water to lick his face and get him back up.

10/10 Woby right there alone… lol.

I made a thread the other day about Woby being able to swim like a Grass Gator.

I also really liked someone's idea of giving Walter portable drying racks.

Theres so much they can do with him. How about fishing? That is very outdoorsy.
