  1. 1. Should they be stronger than else?

    • Yes, otherwise why would I pay for a weaker character?

    • No, what's the difference between this and pay-to-win?

The question came to my mind when considering wortox. Should characters require extra money to play get more strength? I find it reasons for both sides so... Please leave a comment to let me know why you think they should/shouldn't.

Should the 10 or so DLC fighters in Injustice or Mortal Kombat games be stupidly broken OP and kick everyone else who wasn’t a Paid DLC around?

The answer to this is a resounding NO! And the same should apply to DST… just because they’re DLC shouldn’t make them anymore interesting than Willow or Webber. They ALL should be fun & unique.

It would be better for Klei as a company because obviously more people will want to buy those characters. But for the game itself it would be waaaay worse. Like, what if all your favorite characters were the ones that are "free", are they supposed to be inferior only because of that? And that would also mean that many parts of the game will adjust to make the DLC characters feel more dominant, so the whole "characters being good at their own thing" would be completely lost at that point.

Is already sad to see what they did to wurt

Omg before this op skill tree I was actually enjoying him more I still love him but I think Klei should nerf his op shadow affinity as soon as possible this should not be in the game ever

Maxwell, Wigfrig, Winona, Wolfgang, Wendy, Willow, and arguably Woodie are all very powerful in their own rights. Webber, Wicker, and Warly all have their own niches and they excel at it. Of the 4 spool-cost, only Wanda was exceptional, now Wurt is on par or better than her, so we have 02 powerful spool-cost characters.

Is it unethical to push for p2w? Yes. Is it happening in DST? No, in fact, the readily available characters are getting even better. The only thing I care about spool-cost chars, is the uniqueness in playstyle and personality.

And Walter is Walter, he is loved either way.

1. You don't have to pay to unlock them.

2. All characters have different abilities which will always make some objectively better unfortunately.

3. This game isn't competitive, so pay to win can't be a thing because there's no winning.

4. If you want you can install a mod with an OP character for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

they should be more complex at least, like honestly wouldn't mind Webber costing spools (like half that of the other spool characters)

i dont think that would be a good idea, i mean webber costing spools

Just now, SSneaky said:

he's complex, being a character that is a spider and all that.

both wurt and wortoc cost spools so

I think locking all the monster characters behind a spool wall would be a mistake. Especially since he was so many peoples first unlockable character. Most of the dlc characters have multiple huge downsides, they should be powerful enough to make up for it.

idk progression?

what'd the point of it be, considering that it'll come from just having the game open on your computer for a day every week and starting and stopping it every day

the Skill tree could be most busted than wurts/Wolfgangs idk.

Or it could be utility. This isn't productive, so forgive me if I don't intend to respond any further.
