I think the change to The Flower Shroud will make it useless. Let’s take into consideration that most "big" mobs deal double damage to other mobs (examples: Deerclops deals 75 damage to players and 150 to mobs; Eye of Terror deals 62.5 to players and 150 to mobs). If you're using a football helmet with Wendy, the effective damage she will take will now be 1.2x what a normal player would take, compared to the 0.2x she took before the change (transferred from Wendy to Abigail).

Any reduction is better than no reduction, but this skill used to make Abigail useful in situations where she wasn’t before — such as against big single enemies that deal a lot of damage. Now, the change makes her better at what she was already good at: reducing damage from smaller mobs (since they don't have the separate double damage mechanic from mobs to players). That might seem fine, but we already have solutions for smaller mobs, like the brews that provide regeneration and shielding.

Maybe I’m saying this because I really liked the idea of Abigail being a true guardian to Wendy, but if any developers see this, I’d like to ask you to reconsider the change.

I can't help but get antsy when there's gaps in communication. There's been nothing since last week as far as balance updates go, and there' hasn't been any responses to the bug tracker forum in 48 hours. It makes sense during the weekend, but its currently the workweek. I just wonder what they're working on.

Edit: rereading this I just want to make it clear they don't owe us communication, I just lack object permanence.

Yes, apologies for not keeping up with the bug tracker. We're all mostly working on the skill trees themselves, and that is keeping us busy. There will be a stream tomorrow where we talk about changes we've worked on and what other changes we are thinking about. I'm not sure when the next patch to the beta will go out yet.

Can we see some changes before the live broadcast starts? I think this will help us provide more effective feedback.

There's really only two things I'm hoping they're considering, one of them likely won't be happening until the very end.

If I'm unable to make it, perhaps someone could let me know afterwards what ideas they have considered?

I'll probably post a recap if It's at a time i'm available.

I'm kind of glad all the heat is on Wendy at the moment, not gonna lie. I really like the changes made to Walter and especially Wortox. The changes to Wortox make him so much more fun to play. It reminds me of the Wormwood changes. Before the skill-tree Wormwood was relegated just for farming but after his skilltree you had the option of playing support of boss-slayer. It feels the same with Wortox so I think you guys did a great job there. Just please don't nerf him :wilson_cry:. Not a lot of people play him in the first place and these changes would encourage more people to play him.

someone in the stream suggested having souls over cap automatically go into soul jars as well as having the possibility of having soul hop/ map teleport automatically use souls in jars. Thought I'd make a note since it would smooth out actions per minute, while not changing a whole lot.
