I really want to tax the pigs

I love don’t starve together as it is. I think we are incredibly fortunate to still receive updates after almost 10 years. 
 

I just really really want to tax the pigs or the merns (as wurt). I want to tax them and fill a dozen chests with stacks of coins that I’ll never use.

But you can and probably do tax the pigs. They're paying their dues in flesh every time you slaughter them for their skin and meat. Just remember, if you put your drying racks near your pig farm, they will be constantly reminded of their inevitable fate when you make jerky.
