Audio Settings / 5.1 Output Mod? :>

idk if anyone else has been having no joy in getting 5.1 sound to work with Klei games, but I was wondering if it might be possible to mod the Audio config menu perhaps?

Things like choosing your Audio Output Device from a drop down box, Speakers/Channel selection to include 5.1, or Audio Format, if there's any kind of option to be had there would be so very magnificent!

They do such a great job on the sounds and music in their games, and all my bass is in the rear speakers so I've been missing out for a lifetime XD tried reporting it as a bug, but I don't think they claimed 5.1 support so maybe I have no leg lol

I found some info online that suggests it'd be really easy to at least identify and specifically select an audio output device with FMOD code, which I think I found files for in the ONI folder so I assume I could hypothetically make use of, but I haven't a clue how really.

Open to suggestions/witchcraft if anyone has any ideas to test out!  pls and ty in advance <3
