can i get a little help from the community?

well it just turned spring in my long-term world and i decided to grow some carrots passivly while i tried to get the area by portal mowed down but like, i think the spacing in farm plots is different? when i follow the imprints left behind from my prior plantings the soil shifts an undoes my tilling....am i just not remembering things correctly or is the planting distance just a bit different now? i havent done any gardening in like a month so it could just be me and i don't wanna call it a bug until i actually have something more substantial than "feels bad", you know?

what i need is for anyone who gardens enough to have a good feel for it to check to see if it is normal for them or if it is off for them too

As far as I remember, there is no change to farm plots is different.

I assume you've gotten too used to that cool Scarlet Hoe can plow 5x5 at once, but forget about that. However It should have a Hoe like that in DST about time? Without Geometric Placement or a Merm farmer, it's a  tedious job to plow a field accurately in 3x3. And I'm not asking for sprinklers, but It should have wide-area watering can. Watering at the end game can be done in one go with Practical Rain Rituals anyway, right? In that case, I think it would be nice to have some kind of mitigation measure instead of fixing the character. and drill, I need that drill...

Are you using 3x3 or hexagons? Or maybe 4x4?

Ive been doing exclusively hexagon layout lately and its hexagon then thats odd

because the recent placement changes made it possible to dig up and immediately till new spots for plants when old placement made that impossible

Addendum, are you on vanilla, Geo Placement or Snapping Tills?

nothing weird or fancy just my usual slightly-crooked vanilla hoeing with the same vanilla wes as always. the difference is very small but when i am doing a straight line down it just feels like the spacing is a little bit further apart
