Recipe cards should be able to be 'inserted' into the cookbook.

I think it goes without saying that recipe cards are one of the useless items in the game. You take a look at it, then proceed to burn it or erase it for papyrus.

By letting players to put those recipe cards in the cookbook, they can fill up the recipes that are available. Yes, experimenting on making foods are fun to do, but with the wacky ingredients being well, preposterous at best, plenty of players just ignore it.

TLDR; recipe cards should have interactions with the cookbook the same way as lost scrapbook pages with the scrapbook.

yea, if only you can "safe" recipes, because the book will only show you the 6 most recent combinations wich means those cards may just replace combinations you found out

I think it would be easier if you could right click the recipe cards to "Learn" them similar to how you learn scrapbook pages (without destroying them in the process)

I would love a better storage for recipe cards too.

They are a nice collectible I feel. I don't want them gone.

Yeah, that would be great too.

I think them not being stackable (kinda makes sense for different recipes, but not the same recipe) - same as sketches and blueprints really brought down their value to be kept as it was. God knows having a cartographer's desk at any point where the boss drops tons of blueprints EVERY FIGHT (yes, I'm looking at you, Nightpig) is very annoying, especially when you gotta bring those things one by one to be erased.

Let us give them to W.O.B.O.T. for automatic cooking. Make them last long or be switchable, to give an incentive to swap them around while letting W.O.B.O.T. do the cooking for a given recipe (that would incentivise collecting recipe cards plus keeping a stocked Fridge / Ice Box / Icker Preserve with more assorted ingredients).

Perhaps W.O.B.O.T. could hold three recipe cards at any given time.

W.O.B.O.T. already looks good wearing a Top Hat Chef's Hat.

You are right. An enchanted Cook Book would be lovely although now I am asking for too much. xd I agree that the Recipe Cards should have some interaction with the Cook Book, whether it be minor or something more substantial. Currently I tend to keep and stash them but sadly they are oh-so-pointless, besides the free Papyrus. >_>

It could be cool if it maybe had the math above the recently cooked recipes. like, you now know meatballs are 0.5 meatvalue minimum and 3 of any filler not using sticks. Not sure how it would properly explain that, but the craft pot mod seems to do it quite well.
