What do you guys think will be the next two skill trees?

wanted to share opinions, which character will gain new skills in the next update? 

I think probably Walter, Webber or wendy since they are the worst late game characters in the game in my opinion, but it could also be a combat focused character like wanda or wortox maybe

What are your predictions?

Klei did a sneak move with the spider nests recently - they growing faster now. I would bet that is Webber related as a guess. Halloween vibes too. We close folks.

Easiest 4 are Webber, Walter, Wendy and Warly. They've all gone the longest without updates by a significant margin.

Its looking like they're going to release the intermission during haloween, which they said will have info on the next update, so that likely rules out Warly, along with him already getting a Merrymaker skin next update being all but guaranteed.

I'd probably guess Wendy & Webber just because Klei likes pairing them and they fit best with Halloween theming, but any combination of the three remaining kids could work

I would also throw Wortox in being bad late game. His halved healing and hunger from food, comboed with a hard cap of 20 souls,  makes him scale REALLY badly in comparison to other survivors.

Wendy is also a pretty combat focused character.

I hope they don't, just because the last time they did 3, someone (Wolfgang) got shafted terribly, and I have a bad feeling that would be Wendy in this case, which I really hope doesn't happen.

That said All 3 isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I think Walter and Warly are pretty likely(biased). Also I think WX could be cool, but I'm not sure how likely that would be.

Wanda and Wortox are certainly contenders for a skill tree too, although looking at previous skilltree updates, it seems klei might be trying to space out the DLC characters?("1st" batch, Wilson, no dlc characters. 2nd had Wormwood, 3rd had no dlc characters again, 4th had Wurt. Supposedly the 5th batch will not have any dlc characters, but maybe I am grasping at straws(ALTHOUGH, we got 10 characters left, so 5 pairs, so just enough to have the next batch be no dlc, then 1 dlc 1 normal, then no dlc again, then the last dlc character&1 normal, and final 2 non dlc characters.))

Since Halloween is near I think it could be the perfect opportunity for the "spooky kids" Wendy, Walter, and Webber.

They are also the characters that need skill trees the most, I can't comprehend Klei's logic with this "giving more priority" to characters like Wolfgang and Wigfrid (that were still doing ok even post rift) rather than putting the priority on characters that have it waaay harder right now.

Like, as a Walter main that also likes Warly I swear, if Klei gives more priority to the book readers that even without skills trees are doing pretty good rather than the 3 I mentioned above im quitting

If we don't get the intermission, and by extension the skill trees tommorow (which I doubt bc we got the art stream today), I don't see how it Can't be Wendy & Webber. They'll be revealed literally on Halloween to make the previously announced october deadline, and while Walter is associated with scary stories, he can't compete with a spider and a ghost, not to mention how often Wendy & Webber are paired.

If the update is just skilltrees it might be a triple tree like the Woodie,Wormwood, and Wolfgang tree update. Which means it could be all 3 of the spooky kids for Halloween.

Hah! A spooky sweep would be pretty nice! To be honest, no matter who of those three end up getting chosen, they're all popular enough to make someone happy. Here's hoping for some cool skilltrees for the fan favorites!

I don't understand why we can't announce the update order of the skill tree earlier. To be honest, this is particularly unfair to loyal players who don't have a skill tree yet. Publishing it earlier, even if we can't find our favorite character, can save us from some torture and setbacks.

Yeah I agree, it could be the case that the last skill tree might come around like what, mid 2025? and thats probably the best case scenario. Not even having an order to check "who's next" sucks, specially for the people maining characters without it.

I like Walter, and I have been playing as him consistently for like the past 4 years, and considering his current state, I was hoping that he would get a high priority on the update order. But the thought that I might have to wait another year for his skill tree is kind of frustrating. And im sure same happens for Webber, Wanda and Wendy players who are also feeling kind of left behind without their skill trees...
