I argued for it to drop something unique during beta so people actually seek it out but nope. Only need like a moment to gather my bearings, put my beef somewhere safe and equip right things and I can have a go, but it's a bit hard when having so little time to act. But maybe it's because I fought it before the spawning delay was added as to why I struggled a bit while leading it away just enough to prep up. So what about the Great Depths Worm? Most of the rewards are bones with few permanent consuming, and minerals and monster meat that are too common. It's also worth noting that the big worm brings nothing new or decent enough to the table compared to other bosses. Even the lowly Spider Queen gives the Spiderhat (yes the durability is cringe) but worth having, especially within the spider quarry area. Meanwhile, what does the big worm have? Some junk, some poop even, some bone shards (wow, Warly mains rejoice) and the very random gem that may not be dropped as loot.
