Changes

  • Warren Wreath may now be fed while it is on the ground, and has additional animations.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Shadow Maul saying lines for killing Giants after killing regular creatures when at max level.
  • Fixed sound issue with a Great Depths Worm effect.
  • Fixed Webber’s Spiders not being able to be picked up in a save and load cycle, and breaking feeding them after using a Worm Hole.
  • Fixed a crash in the Beefalo skinning panel.
  • Fixed a crash with feeding Mandrakes to the Warren Wreath.
  • Fixed Great Depths Worm’s warning sound not playing properly.
  • Fixed Shadow Maul not showing up on the player's profile outfit section.
  • Decreased the chance of the Great Depths Worm getting stuck on narrow terrain.

Can we please have Nightmare Fuel -> Pure Horror transmutation for Wilson's shadow affinity? :wilson_lightbulb: I imagine that at least would make his shadow affinity more interesting for people (since most of them just go for lunar affinity). Could even make it 3 or 4 nightmare fuel -> 1 pure horror if wanted.

If we're talking about Wilson, he could also be able to convert twigs into grass. In my world I'm always running out of grass, and have thousands of twigs left

the forums are an extremely small niche of players, a poll here is absolutely not indicative of what would be best for the game. many people on this site have directly contradictory opinions. That means actually extracting some useful information for development requires klei to be very picky about what they decide to consider as good advice. On top of that, the average user is not going to be a person who scouts the forum for every small change made, which means that the main audience of the game isnt even responding on any forums poll.

tldr: forum posts dont explicitly dictate how the game should be updated.

also i think the current lifesteal is a perfect balance for maul (opinion)

Well you should because Wilson is a comic relief character in DST if nothing less. 

Hes literally are punished for using his new skills, have you seen any of transmutation costs? Its 200%-300% unfair.

What makes you think I hadn't seen those? Game legit "should have cost to have resources". So what if his transmutes ain't having equivalent exchange? That barely mean things when you can amass what you have to be transmuted in no time.

I sure can, but why would I transmute If the price is literally stupid and better off not using at all?

Wilson is ironicly the only survivor who is getting punished for using his perks. Think about that.

Klei really thought that giving Wilson a Beard Hair recipe was a good idea. (Ahh yes, beacuse clearly thats what Wilson players needed.)

The way that klei threated one of the most unique character in this franchise is just makes me sad.

Ive yet to think of a reason why one should transform wool into beard or vice versa... With increased price. At least with beard growth perk you have a steady income of beard to shave.

Klei should have polls in the in-game menu that every single player could use and see easily. Then the decisions of the playerbase wouldn't be limited just to the forums, which is used only by a minority of the playerbase.

Beard food storage is actually pretty decent, it also allows Wilson to carry meat objects concealed in his beard storage and Bunnymen won’t attack him.

I have no idea why people wouldn’t want that!

One time me and friends played in a Klei server, we only found two beefalos and it's almost winter. Guess what I did? I shaved part of my beard and turned those into beef wool, then made a winter hat for my friend. Mind you, I chose the insulation perk instead of growth.

How about that, huh?

How about that, huh?

You shouldnt be making winter hat in a first place. Just use thermal stone instead, its much more efficent while also letting you have your head slot free. You can wear football helmet, that 120 heat insulation winter hat provides are usless and you gonna start fire from time to time anyway to warm yourself and your buddy up, so why not just use thermal stone?? Youre gonna heat it up anyway via fire. 

Usless perk, Id have a warm thermal stone in my pocket by the day winter starts. I wouldnt even get in that scenario of needing extra wool for hats, there is no reason Id use warm headgear over thermal. Besides, both winter hat and thermal stone requires alchemy to prototype, and if you have alchemy laying around, Im sure you can find half stack of rocks to make thermal. Its cheaper and more reliable, beefalo on pubs are either extinct or tamed or sometimes both.

Mike... I was talking about Wilsons wool into beard hair transformation perk.

I do agree that one and only useful perk Wilson has as for right now is beard storage.

hey, please don't tell other people not to play the way that makes them happy. they were just saying how they use wilson's perk not asking for a way to invalidate that perk. thanks.

Yeah, if i'm in a klei server with my friends and it's almost winter and there's only two beefalos and somehow theres no items to craft thermal stones, torches or other insulation items then yeah, of course I will use the beard hair to beefalo wool craft. 

But other than that senario, The transmute icky II is basically useless.
