Wormwood should say something when a pet expires. Mostly for saladmanders and carrats since lightbugs should always be close by. 

Often when im moving around the map with saladmanders out for example they’ll expire mid journey and i wont know until i arrive at my destination and notice their absence. So i have to backtrack to hopefully find the dragonfruits before a random pig or whatever eats it.

Blooming similarly suffers from lack of information. Possibly even worse. 

There really shouldve been a Bloom meter by now, considering his mini refresh and skill tree updates have come and gone. 

Wormwood not having a meter for his bloom would be like wolfgang not having a precise mightiness meter and only having to rely on the 3 character models. 

Except its worse for wormwood because if u dip below full bloom it takes a lot longer to reach that stage again compared to wolf becoming mighty.

for now there is a mod that adds a Bloom meter

In my opinion, there should be a way to click on the saladmanders to pick them up and put them in the inventory like Webber does with the Spiders, and the Lightbugs should fly back to the inventory before they disappear.
