Increase the stack size of Icker Preservers.

Recommended Posts

Title.

Icker preservers are an awesome concept. However currently, while not useless, it gets overshadowed by bundles.

They could be much better alternative to bundles if they got higher stack size. (Like four stacks of a single item per preserver)

It's kinda supposed to be a single unit non-bundle storage for food to not have to bundle and rebundle things over and over again.

Pairing these with bearger bin it might be more worth to use them than actual bundles due to less hassle and more quicker access.

I definitely going to use them once I set up the kitchen just right. Or even as little path lights... if they were cheaper. .-.

Yes, I personally hate bundles so I will be using the Icker preservers. But I still kinda wish that they at least had more space so we only have to make one per food item. :cold:

A stack of food rather. It's surprisingly a good thing tbh. And has display for the foods so you won't mix bundles and won't need to make signs for each thing you cook at least.

A single item isn't bad considering the cost. It saves on wax too which is nice. Can't complain for all the benefits it will bring, but also not expensive enough to complain for me about it much either.

Would personally love a way to upgrade them in a way to make them be a one slot infinite storage container (perhaps with an extremely minor refresh effect). I really like the this item, but I was really hoping for a way to store infinite amounts of a perishable, since this is one of the few things elasticspacer chests can’t do and what you still need to resort to mass bundle strats for if you are storing lots of food (which is very realistic later on).

As for the item itself, I think it’s okay. While it is fairly expensive to make a good amount, it’s not overwhelmingly so, and works in a lot of scenarios where bundles would not be the most ideal choice (EX: storing lightbulbs, volt goat chaud froid, nightberries, etc). I think it in combo with the bin could also be neat to prep rations ahead of time, or at least that’s what I did with mine so far with storing buff foods/general foods I use pretty frequently.

I'd prefer it to only hold one type of item but an infinite amount of it. Or limit to atleast 4 stacks of 40. Would be very good for ferns and birchnuts and stuff like that.

I thought i said the same thing until i read my post again lol. I definitely I agree. This is how it should funcion.

I editted my original post. Thanks for reminding!
