lowercase skye Posted August 31, 2024 Share Posted August 31, 2024 Initially, Pearl's bee boxes requiring 10 flowers for a friendship point was perfect, as you would craft one bug net and catch a clean 10 flowers and it would break. In the current day after some misc changes, however, her house also requires a singular Firefly to upgrade, meaning you'll have to craft 1 bug net for the butterflies, then craft 1 more and catch only one firefly with it, leaving you with a 90% durability bug net. This is really a nitpick, but I think it's a bit unfortunate how the gameplay flows worse since you now need to catch 11 things with a bug net which is literally only 1 more than a bug net's durability allows. Requiring more than a single bug net, the fact you need 5 carpeted flooring when crafting yields 4. It's like the whole questline taunts you. Relying on rain in the first autumn can either make or break the whole entire matter of timing, and the fact that she goes home at night just makes you out to be an idiot if you're caught out at dusk, needing to wait upwards of 4-5 minutes if you fall even a tiny bit short. That's why I don't think you should complain. It's clear that the intent is to disrespect you as a player and waste your time. Either craft the 2nd bug net or play another game. No one at Klei is an evil mastermind making bad content on purpose to disrespect the playerbase and make them unhappy. Go for the true gamers way and gamble for a Firefly on the Terraria chest! If it isn't there just delete the world.
