Warren Wreath should drop a live rabbit when spoiled or the rabbit should be able to be released in some way.

The Warren Wreath turns into a morsel when it spoils which is frankly both sad and pretty immersion breaking. Why would the survivors ask the rabbit king to put a rabbit on their head and then proceed to let it starve to death while it sits entirely perfectly still on your head not trying to get away or otherwise ask for food until it disappears and leaves behind a chunk of meat, it's frankly just really silly. I expect people to make fun of this second thing or talk about how it's Dark Humor or whatever, but additionally it is just really sad to have an animal that is essentially a "pet" you keep on your head but inevitably will starve to death and die, and there's no way for you to release it short of a literal deconstruction staff from the ruins. It'd just be nice if it were to hop away and disappear into the dirt or something.

On the topic of deconstruction, why cannot we deconstruct living creatures into their corresponding base ingredients?

Deconstructing bosses would be too taxing on the gem, and impossible. "The gem size is not big enough for such an advanced deconstruction".

We already have quotes suggesting bigger gems do bigger things, like in the Star Caller's Staff.

Imagine going around and just waving your Deconstruction Staff and deconstructing living creatures. It really seems cruel but it makes sense and gives more realism.

Insta-kill everything with decon staff would look so silly :D

Should be able to feed the rabbit on top a carrot to keep the Warren wreath from "spoiling" otherwise it dying is very fitting tbh and suits the vibe of DST.

I don’t care about this much but at the very least I think it’d be more fun if it dropped the live rabbit instead of a morsel. It’s one of those things that makes sense but the player won’t expect it so it’ll be a pleasant surprise when it happens.

this is a big part of why i wanted the rabbit hat to be feedable! the game is called don't starve.

I wanted to suggest rabbit hat to be feedable like inventory rabbits, when I read the title. But then I can't remember last time I used a fashion melon......do they also turn into rot or just disappear? If yes, they probably used a similar mechanics for the rabbit hat without thinking about this literally meaning a friendly pet being left to "rot".
