Hell, even this fan designed bridge does a better job. It fits within the theme of the original wood walls and fits the whole don't starve artwork more. 

The bridge part (out of boards) doesn't exactly fit the artstyle in my opinion.
I think what we have looks better?
I'm also not a big fan of the actual bridges having a railing, it'd be nicer and more customisable if you could simply... add one yourself out of fences and other stuff.

I love that we can actually build onto them, but the 3 tile range limit, and inability to link them to other bridges does kinda hamper anything creative you can do with em.
Also absolutely adore the art for the bridges we have, wondering if there could be skins for em in the future. :shock:

Not sure why the rabbit king crook was renamed to rabbit king sabre. 

Kings are known to be shepherds of men. You lead sheep with a crook. Not a sword. 

 

I don't get it. The team gets something right and then immediately backtracks from a good decision.

Because its used to kill them, not lead them :)

You are the most condescending person to me outside of the forums. It's shaped like a crook, it was called a crook, yet it functions as a glorified tentacle spike.

After killing a grand depth worm I have a few thoughts.  The fight itself is really fun, but I think it’s way too destructive and hard to be a boss the comes in the waves. I think the best course of action is to make it have a set place where it spawns kinda like toadstool. If you were to do this it would need a good unique drop to make it worth it (also while I know that natural depth worms spawn in the muddy biome closer to the ruins but in my opinion it would be better somewhere else in the caves because the muddy biome already has the ruins entrance and the nightmare wearpig)

In my opinion if you leave it spawning in waves it would discourage cave building because of its destructiveness, but if you make it a boss in a set place with a good drop then it could incentivize cave building and exploration (bonus points if the drop makes the caves easier to be in)

We don’t have a lot of optional content in the caves which is why I’m asking that this becomes optional. I believe that if the drop is good enough it can make the caves more fun

if destroying was removed it would make it a lot better for coming in a wave but it wouldn’t be as good as being an optional boss (in my opinion)
