Wortox changes I’d like to see

I want to emphasize that these are buffs/QoL perks I want to see, not any new unique mechanics because I don’t have many ideas for that
- Add skills for more/better interactions with magic item.  Being magical is one of the character’s shticks but it was never reflected in gameplay.  For instance he could lose less sanity from using them (similar to old wanda).  I’d like to see him be particularly effective with teleporting magic items since teleportation is another big part of the character.
- Beefalo synergies.  Wortox is the most counter synergetic character with beefalo so if anyone should get beefalo skills, it’s him.  What I want to see most is the ability to teleport while mounted (and perhaps somehow modifying the teleport), especially given that this is already possible with a lazy explorer.
- Somehow improve soul hopping, especially for long distances.  Winona and wanda introduced a power creep to the character so having him be able to compete with them is very important.  This could be done through magic/beefalo interactions as said before.
- Increase to soul cap.  This is self explanatory.  He could use this buff in the first place and this is only made more important by more uses for souls inevitably being a part of the skill tree.
- Some way to increase damage.  Just about every single character is getting increased damage one way or another.  I’m certain this will happen regardless but I still wanted to express that it’s important I consider it.
- Keep healing skills to an absolute minimum.  Newer players already consider his healing abilities to be overpowered meanwhile more experienced players find it increasingly underwhelming because they don’t need that much healing.  As such, healing skills would be unappealing to just about everyone.

Shadow Wortox should have synergy with void gear so he can match/contrast with Wormwood, and it'd be nice because Wormwood/Wortox is an extremely common duo.

It would also make reaping souls a lot less tedious of course

i really dont care for beefalos and their skills, i like that wortox doesnt really need one, but i would allow him to soul hop with a heavy item at twice the soul cost at least.
max limit of souls is likely to be increase with his skill tree.

he needs some crafts, something only he can make, i could see a weapon that needs souls to function but will also eat the soul of anything it kills if it isnt at near full durability, a soul lantern that can be fueled with souls of course and have a negative sanity aura would be fun, if not a weapon why not a piece or armor? and what about changing his heal and eat to spells like how embers work? allowing him to get at least two more spells with souls.

Wortox is the unquestionably the worst character in the game to give Beefalo skills to. 

Like dead last, no contest. 

Most people would be really frustrated if he got any beefalo skills, there's far better options 

And would be even more frustrated with your suggestion of keeping healing abilities to a minimum. 

Healing is unique with him. 

I know there's 50000 ways to heal, but how many ways are there to heal your allies? 

 

This is a multiplayer game, there's a huge opportunity there 

A dead Beefalo now drops as a carcass with the gloom bell and can be revived by destroying the bell.

Wanda can use second chance watches to infinitely revive dead players, and it only breaks when she attempts to revive herself.

I think that it makes perfect sense for Wortox to have a reviving synergy with Dead Beefalo, just like he is seen holding his hand out in his Animated short to suck away the Krampus with his hand, he can place his hand on the Beefalo and after a brief animation revive it.
