JosePapp Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 I absolutely love the art and the mechanics of the Greater Depth Worm and I feel like it's current implementation as a DW Varglet is a missed opportunity. What if instead of the current implementation it could be found dwelling on the cave swamp or muddy biomes? This could give the caves a new danger to avoid and make their exploration more dynamic. When killed, it could drop a "Outstanding Glow Berry" or something, which could be turned into a cream that refuels moggles by 50% up to 6 times or turned into a lotion to make creatures glow for half a day. It could also drop some "Depth Dweller hide" which could provide thorns damage for players who are attacked as they move. (Same as the worm). BezKa Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 I think it can still play the role of the "Bigger Hound Wave Underground" by being a boss dwelling in a certain biome as suggested, and it's corpse attracting other Depth Worms, so you can skip the next 1-3 Worm Attacks. Essentially an opt in varglet.
