To this day, it remains arbitrary. caves traversal is a problem we've experienced, those with more hours experience more. It's not hard to speculate when you have a lot of experience in the game. With the bridges acting the way they do, getting destroyed by earthquakes, like, why? Also, no one has acknowledged the destructive potential of the worm king.
