Effects of rain in the summer

Hello,

I was beginning a new world, and I wonder: do crops still wither if it's raining during the summer? Specifically, if a Wickerbottom were to keep the rain up during the entire summer, what effects would it have on the world? Would wildfires still start? Would crops (grass and twigs and such) wither?

wild fire wont start, crop wont wilther.
fire hound still exist so you still need to turn on flingo when hound come.
you still overheat in middle summer even if it rain (which is stupid and rain should drop world temp)

To add onto what Tranoze stated, the Oasis will not be full nor will the Sandstorm and Antlion be present in that desert while it is raining. (Or shortly after the rain ends while the world is damp)

High humidity makes it harder for sweat to evaporate, preventing you from losing heat that way. Being sufficiently wet still works. This is realistic enough from the player's perspective, ignoring the thermal measurer reading.

Only after the rain already ended and ground water starting to evaporate from the sun. Clouds that rain come from still provide world wide shades when it raining.

i have and it is currently hot enough where i live for me to me to be distinctly uncomfortable and has been overcast and wet since yesterday. do remember the world is larger than your own neighbourhood and there are many places where it can be very hot AND very wet at the same time.

I understand it can be HOT and VERY WET. I just want to know if anywhere it can be HOT and IT STILL RAINING. 

Previous case is after it raining. Your overcast case is before it raining.

my overcast case was before, during and after it rained. multiple times. but i expressly said it was hot even though it had already rained.

basically every country in a tropical climate has heat+rain during monsoon season.

Experienced it earlier this month (near Las Vegas). Temperature 110F with 50% humidity. I didn't stand directly in the rain, and I got uncomfortable really quickly. (Being in the hot tub is fine for similar temp and humidity, so presumably I'd be fine if I got soaked.)

Maybe it'd be 116F with the sun out, but that's not any relief whatsoever when you can't even lose your own body heat. Also, it tends to be ~90F before the sun comes up the morning, so the clouds didn't stop the temp from rising, as they still let in and trap some heat.

Does it happen everytime it's rain in mid summer?
I just wonder why i can overheat while me stand directly in the rain, 100% wet, in middle of summer, in the game. Often i do this strategy when i play maxwell, where rain sanity drop doesnt affect me much, and i can read book to keep it rain. And in the middle 3 days of summer, i do have to seek for shades if i dont want to overheat.
