adressing wurt egg inconsistency

Recommended Posts

Wurt can eat certain crockpot dishes that require eggs (waffles, potato Soufflé) but not others Like plain Omelette.

It would be nice for consistency sake,

if there some logic behind it

like for example wurt refusing to eat raw eggs,

but Not cooked/crockpot dishes with them ( maybe she dislikes the taste of raw eggs)

Have you ever eaten a waffle before? They're great. I could serve a waffle up to a vegan and they'd be none the wiser if I told them it was vegan. The same cannot be said about an omelette or a fried egg.

I'm not a vegan and not even I like omelettes. I think it makes sense.

Nature is weirder than you think. Deer are herbivores, but have been known to eat bones and carrion because of deficiencies.
Even chickens eat eggshells after their chicks hatch. I won't even get into what humans do post natally, but it's similar to what the chickens do.

I say don't think too hard on it and let Wurt eat eggs sometimes.

The whole Wurt and eggs thing has bothered me for a long time now. Unless Klei changes Wurt from vegetarian to vegan, I don't see why she can't eat eggs. Raw eggs I understand, she sees it as a potential chick ready to hatch, but cooked eggs should be no problem. Yes, I understand that not all vegetarians eat eggs and that she is more of a herbivore, but Nature likes to contradict itself very often. If my cockatiels try to steal my scrambled eggs even though they are birds themselves and eat without side effects, Wurt should be able to eat at least plain eggs, unless Klei decides to officially states that she is vegan.
