Veyred
Wurt can eat certain crockpot dishes that require eggs (waffles, potato Soufflé) but not others Like plain Omelette. It would be nice for consistency sake, if there some logic behind it like for example wurt refusing to eat raw eggs, but Not cooked/crockpot dishes with them ( maybe she dislikes the taste of raw eggs) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157424-adressing-wurt-egg-inconsistency/ Share on other sites
chirsg
Have you ever eaten a waffle before? They're great. I could serve a waffle up to a vegan and they'd be none the wiser if I told them it was vegan. The same cannot be said about an omelette or a fried egg. I'm not a vegan and not even I like omelettes. I think it makes sense. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157424-adressing-wurt-egg-inconsistency/#findComment-1728147 Share on other sites
Veyred
Well wurt isnt a vegan but a vegetarian, and i assumed its some sort of biological incompatibility ,Like her Not eating meat. But that cant be the case if shes eating waffles with No i'll effects. Deer are herbivores, but have been known to eat bones and carrion because of deficiencies. Even chickens eat eggshells after their chicks hatch. I won't even get into what humans do post natally, but it's similar to what the chickens do. I say don't think too hard on it and let Wurt eat eggs sometimes. Veyred
Well to be honest i rather just have her eat eggs normally so she can use them as fillers or sth again And its not like those egg crockpot dishes are super good. Wikte
I stopped using crockpots as Wurt since eggs got their separate dishes and ****** up meals, I do think Wurt should be fine eating egg dishes, after all she's not vegan and happily eats sweets and dairy dishes Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157424-adressing-wurt-egg-inconsistency/#findComment-1728163 Share on other sites
Bumber64
I think the crockpot transmutes items such that the eggs no longer exist if the output isn't a "meat" dish. DST waffles are purely veggies, requiring the only the concept of "eggness" in their manufacture. Jakepeng99
Wurt is not a vegan OR a vegetarian. She is a herbivore like all merms, there is a reason she does not have the Wigfrid/Warly disguist animation. marshyds
Maybe the survivors just don't tell Wurt that the meal contains eggs so that they don't have to bother getting vegan food for her? SapoLover
Wurt doesn't follow a strict diet, she's like an animal, she eats whatever she can. Still, it doesn't make sense. She eats dishes with eggs, but doesn't eat eggs, but she does rotten eggs? What? Xilryu
The whole Wurt and eggs thing has bothered me for a long time now. Unless Klei changes Wurt from vegetarian to vegan, I don't see why she can't eat eggs. Raw eggs I understand, she sees it as a potential chick ready to hatch, but cooked eggs should be no problem. Yes, I understand that not all vegetarians eat eggs and that she is more of a herbivore, but Nature likes to contradict itself very often. If my cockatiels try to steal my scrambled eggs even though they are birds themselves and eat without side effects, Wurt should be able to eat at least plain eggs, unless Klei decides to officially states that she is vegan.
