More Ocean Fish.

I would love to have more ocean fish that drop unique loot, or more ocean creature overall that are meant to be for food. Something near shallow water that aren't small fishs.

I think just more sea creature in general, hope the next update focus on the ocean more, because it's really starting to become so interesting.

I think the existing fish should get more uses.

Like using the needlenose as a sewing kit.

Like using popperfish as grenades.

Like using electric eels as electric damage whips.

There's an idea, more tool alternatives is always a good thing, many tools currently don't have alternative versions or have alternatives that are just painfully late game (lookin at that shadow umbrella and the brightshade hammer...)

Would also love large cave lakes possibly with unique cave fish to find down there.

you'd need to get 7 fishes to increase durability of an item that breaks after 10 days by more in comparison to by how much sewing kit increases it

I think underwater lakes would be an amazing bit of content, at least in making the caves even cooler looking, but also the idea of unique fish.

You could have an Angler fish with a lightbulb on its head, that you could carry around as a fish torch for light.

It could also be a fun thing for Wurt to go gather, since she'd keep it alive longer and have a reason to carry it around in her inventory.

This one i still really want so badly.

It would die upon use, so you could fish some of them up to repair stuff.

I love the Ocean QOL in this update, it fixes a lot of existing ocean stuff.

But I also would really love to see new ocean content in a future update. More fish, glowing stuff (really helps the atmosphere) and stuff to do.

Also I would love ocean lanterns (simular to the glowcap, just on water) so much, for building docks. This would look just amazing at night.

Bouys as lights/path markers would be neat, not enough light to avoid charlie persay, just enough to see the bouy.

Interacting with them might get funky, i did suggest in another thread for chests that float after your boat breaks though, kind of emergency storage you can recover, that or safes or something of the like that sinks but can be recovered with the winch

I suppose if youre willing to do the inventory shuffle piggybacks float and dont catch fire...

I think they should also rework more Ocean Fish loot, Sweetish Fish should have some chance of dropping fig, Corn Cod should give both corn and fish meat, Black Cat fish have chance of summoning Monkey raid, Dandy Lionfish could bring back poision mechanic, the two flower fish should drop some petal, bitty bait fish should be able to use as bait.
