Wikte Posted June 10, 2024 Share Posted June 10, 2024 I really like new Crab King, it provides different types of fights. But I also think Crab King on harder difficulties is not utilized at all.. I suggests to add extra drop on harder difficulty, example for every Iridescent Gem/Pearl to provide more drop, it can be even slight increase, like extra messages in a bottle. How cute.. it would be interesting if he also dropped the new tree seeds to craft gem trees. It can be explained away with actual lore that you socket gems into it.. the Gems animate it to life (and the seeds latch onto the gems just as they do in Wormwoods animated short) and once you kill said crab boss Boom Seed Piñata. yes I’m a story writer, and yes I just tied those two things together with an idea off the top of my head. But does it improve player desire to Re-fight the crab boss over and over again? It will bring the crab king back to be sane for a while and trigger a special conversation with the Crabby Hermit. This will be the best reward. Maxil20 Posted June 10, 2024 Share Posted June 10, 2024 Would be down to see an increase in difficulty be equivalent to more rewards, since iridescent gems don’t really have a purpose unless you really want to punish yourself (or want the special pearled adornment). Could be neat to see the “harder” gems (like blue ones) also be rewarded as well.
