We alredy knew that depths worms weren't created Maxwell, so I think It makes sense how their kind comes from an "ancient era". The tree and depth worms don't look similar the only thing they have in common is that they are both purple and have blue fruits and the similarities end there the fruits have completely different effects (one grants night vision the other makes you glow) the depth worms and the plant the depth worms try to mimic (lesser glow berry) is even less similar I doubt they are from the same place and the gloomthorn (the night vision fruit trees actual name) looks like it would live in a place with a lot of water or generally wet area and the wilds aren't wet enough Also the tree grows its fruit based on day/night cycle so it can't be from deep underground Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/156301-nightvision-fruit-tree-might-have-originated-from-swamp/#findComment-1716435 Share on other sites More sharing options...
