Should higher-tier weapons be limited in multi-player when it in low-tier rooms?

Recommended Posts

When a player is using a public room to play online, it is often impossible to predict the progress of the joiner. At this point, if a player with a high-level weapon joins a room owner who is just getting started, the resulting experience will be terrible. Players with advanced weapons will be able to sweep through all enemies as easily as if they were breaking an egg.

So, should we put some kind of limit on it to prevent this from happening? Just like the blue logo in Dark Souls 3,it will reduce the Stats of high-level players until they are close to the room owner.

Some stat scaling when someone has a clearly stronger weapon would make sense, it's fairly standard in these kinds of games, but I wouldnt want to outright restrict higher tier weapons since theres some novelty to seeing someone join with a high tier weapon and going "wow I want that"

There should be eventually a way to be able to both join or accept a certain "level" of players. Currently the playerbase is tiny and its early access, so Its fair it's working this way, but eventually they need to make clear what tier of game you are joining.

When I started playing, I jumped into a quick join MP game, and they were faaaaar more advanced than I was. It was probably as frustrating for me, as I couldn't deal much damage and kept dying, as it was for them, having to babysit me and revive me often. The same thing, but on the other side, happens now that I'm in the endgame. When I join games that are still in normal difficulty, I can destroy everything much faster than the other players, and it's no fun for anyone.
