Sasuga
I know that Hatches and Pips produce coal and coal is very useful for producing power, and getting the "Super Sustainable" achievement should be as difficult as it is, I don't really want to make that any easier, but... I think it'd be cool if there were manual generators for land-based critters. Some ideas on specs: They could be a 1x1 size. They could require refined metal and plastic. They might only produce 25W or 50W of power. They only work inside a ranch. They require research that combines both branches of critter stuff and power generation stuff. A full ranch of 8 Hatches or Pips with 8 Critter Generators might produce 100 W of power per second all day. It can use critter calories which means critters get hungry faster and have to be fed or will starve to death sooner. So, it'd be something useful and doable, but not something easy, especially early game. But must of all, I think it'd just be fun! Also, it would encourage people to allow hatches to roam the entire length or most of the length of a ranch, instead of being penned in over the top of a doorway. Also, doors opening and closing under the hatches to release eggs as is a setup I use, would stop the generators from working as they wouldn't have a floor, which would cancel the hatch's use of the generator and since it's random as to whether or not they'd use it, the hatch might not use it again all cycle, which makes it very difficult to auto-collect eggs and use the critter generators, although not impossible if you're willing to make the tradeoff. Sasza22
I`m sure i saw a mod where pips could use the manual generator. If it required the generator to be in a ranch and a rancher to put in the critters each time (wih glum critters jumping off) it could be fun.
