EatenCheetos
Wilson Wilson’s skill tree is a bit underwhelming. His torch tree becomes quickly outclassed, his gem conversion is a bit too pricey. He needs just a little more to solidify himself as a great choice to any team. Torch tree buffs apply to lanterns / miner hats Torches / lanterns / miner hats crafted by Wilson retain their buffs when equipped by another player Yellow and green gem recipes now cost 3 purple gems (same as the orange gem recipe) Indirect buff: Meat effigies can equip items like mannequins. These items are equipped by the player on revival Willow Willow’s BERNIE tree is a hit underwhelming, these changes should make it a bit more worthwhile. Willow is also very powerful, so I aimed to tune down some of her passive abilities. Accelerant skill replaced with More Damage: +15% BERNIE damage / +30% BERNIE damage Tough stuffing replaced with new skill, “A Friend in Me”: Bernie’s sanity regeneration and warmth when equipped is increased by 50% / 100% Fuel efficiency perk removed Sanity regen around fire capped at 5/min Wolfgang Wolfgang’s skill tree is just awful. The perks are weird and it’s really boring. I completely redesigned the tree with some more creative options that complement his current abilities while also being a valuable asset in a team setting. Sanity drain downside increased from 1.25 / 1.1 to 1.3 / 1.2 Completely new paths Path 1 Decreased transition time Mighty gym auto-completes Mighty gym can raise max mightiness to 125 Mightiness cannot fall below 25 Path 2 Increased speed while mighty by 10% Increased speed while mighty by 20% Weighted clothing no longer slows down Wolfgang in normal form Can sprint towards an enemy at the cost of mightiness Path 3 Gardening now increases mightiness even more and Wolfgang can smash giant crops when mighty Can smash any structure with bare hands when mighty Can dig with bare hands when mighty Can pick up / move structures when mighty Path 4 Sanity penalty is completely negated when around friends or followers Wolfgang can craft the coaching whistle and can only use while mighty Coaching whistle increases allies sanity by 10 and Wolfgang can use it when normal Pigs that watch you work out when mighty have their loyalty timer increased Path 5 Rowing effectiveness increased Jump distance increased Mightiness drains slower at sea Wolfgang’s anchor / mast abilities extend to his normal form Path 6 Crit chance increased to 5% Crit chance increased to 10% Critical hits restore 5 sanity Critical hits restore 10 mightiness Shadow alignment Can summon a shadow gym loaded with max weights from anywhere Lunar alignment Burst of strength: once per full moon, when Wolfgang would take lethal damage, his health and mightiness increase to the max instead Woodie No complaints, this is a perfect skill tree. Wigfrid Wigfrid’s tree is almost perfect, but the cooldown ability is a little underwhelming and the affinity perks are boring. Battle stingers on cooldown can be activated with inspiration like normal Dark lament rework: +5% damage to lunar enemies, allies can evade 1 hit every 30 seconds Enlightened lullaby rework: +5% damage to shadow enemies, all allies deal +10 planar damage on a full moon Wormwood Wormwood gains way too much sanity, to the point where it’s kind of annoying. He can mass produce sanity foods like green caps and taffy, but never really needs to use them! This should fix that and give some other buffs to lesser-used healing methods. Sanity gain from planting halved Indirect buff: honey poultice & healing salve application time massively lowered Indirect buff: positive effects of sleeping are increased 50% Edited March 16 by EatenCheetos Formatting

Maybe they never knew it was buffed in the first place, and this was intended to be a buff. Just now, EatenCheetos said: No, no. The Starver
I don't agree with your green and yellow gem recipes. The current ones are thematically more appropriate, and they're easier besides.

(3)I Agree that Gem transmutations are stupitly expensive But making this change wouldn't really change anything about Wilson's gameplay but It would make him more pick and switch character(Varg farm Green gem farming) -Much simpler and effective way to fix gem transmutations would be reducing the crafting ratio a 2:1 ratio. This would let Wilson use this skill more freely and wouldn't really change anything for endgame farmers. (4) Interesting idea, but I never build meat effigies so no comment on that. EatenCheetos
Somebody had the idea of making Wolfgang able to workout with his beefalo. Honestly I’ll take anything creative over his current skill tree. I’d like to hear if anybody has other skill tree suggestions!
chaosmonkey
Man the audacity to suggest reworking Wolfgang's entire tree after it's already had a major second pass and Wolfgang enjoyers are generally happy with it. Wolfgang's entire thing is damage and being a strong guy. The one-shot chore perks are great for early game, speed boost while normal is well balanced, and the damage related perks for post-CC content while boring are exactly what he needs. Taking a trade off between lunar and shadow alignment is also fantastic. Sure, the gym-related perks are kind of garbage for experienced players, but I actually think they are great for less experienced folks trying to get good at Wolfgang. 4

grm9
play the game before making suggestions, gym is worthless and you get mightiness for working and attacking so getting it isn't an issue and most of wolfgang perks won't work and willow isn't that good and suggested nerfs won't do anything

The gym is very useful, Willow is very strong, and the suggested nerfs are tweaks in the right direction

These suggested changes + a couple more skills within each skill tree (to increase opportunity costs) would make them better. You can literally get all 3 chore + 3 alignment skills + leg day + as many planar damage skills as you can.
