Can Tall Chest give back shard when deconstructed?

Seems to me there should be some way of getting the shard back if we demolish a tall chest. It currently assumes the drop loot of a regular chest when hammered/deconstructed. Considering we can now use a decon staff on houndius it would be nice if tall chests could be made similarly portable. It will encourage more frequent use of the structure, make building/designing more of a forgiving process, and promote reusability with one of the most expensive ingredients in the game.

Klei keeps adding pure brillance to crafts when we have an overflow of husks
